£34,937 – £36,703 inclusive of London Allowance per annum
About the role
The successful candidate will coordinate efforts to assist in managing strategic partnerships between the MRC LMS and a range of industrial organisations, from SMEs to major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. They will focus on supporting the development of industry partnerships that align with MRC LMS research priorities i.e. in ageing, metabolism, multimorbidity and women’s health including preparation of proposals, contract drafting, project management and reporting of funded activities. The post holder will also assist the Senior Research Governance and Contracts Manager in a variety of contract and governance matters across the MRC LMS. This post has been created following the granting of the Business Engagement Fund award from the MRC.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team as a Research Project Coordinator. You will be instrumental in managing industrial collaborations and ensuring compliance with funding and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of intellectual property and commercialisation and exceptional communication skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to support research governance, facilitate knowledge-sharing events, and play a key role in the success of our research projects.
