About me:
I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Genetics from University College London before pursuing a PhD in James Turner’s Sex Chromosome Biology Lab at the Francis Crick Institute. My doctoral work focused on the Y chromosome, particularly how Y genes control male fertility. In 2025, I joined the Genomic Variation and Disease team at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS) as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
The genomic variation and disease team at the LMS started in 2024. Led by Lila Allou, it aims to understand the molecular consequences of SVs affecting noncoding regions in development and disease, thereby improving rare disease diagnosis and identifying potential therapeutic targets in cancer.
