About me:
I am a neuroscientist interested in the biological principles we can learn from small nervous systems. I completed my PhD at the CRG in Barcelona, Janelia Farm, and the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology in Munich and then worked as a research scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim in my hometown of Vienna. In 2025 I joined André Brown’s group as a Daphne Jackson Fellow establishing the brain function of C. elegans as a novel readout for drug screening.
We use imaging, machine learning, and molecular-level perturbations to understand physiology and ultimately treat disease. Our research focuses on using nematodes to model rare diseases and discover neuroactive molecules.
