Research focus:
Most chemicals in our environment have never been tested for their effects on human health, a gap which is rooted in a lack of tools. My group builds spatial single-cell genomics and high-throughput screening technologies to map, at cellular resolution, how exposures remodel tissues and cause disease.
Joined LMS:
2026
About me:
I am driven by the belief that new technologies enable previously impossible measurements, which can transform our understanding of biology and ultimately improve and extend human lives. The LMS is the ideal place to pursue these aims as it brings together passionate scientists and exceptional clinicians in an environment where discovery and translation are interlinked.
My awards and achievements:
BroadIgnite (2024), EMBO Postdoctoral Fellow (2022)
Impact of my work:
Environmental exposures contribute to nearly a quarter of all global deaths, yet most chemicals in current use remain untested. Our work aims to generate the evidence base to identify and remove harmful compounds, inform safer chemical design, and develop diagnostics that detect exposure-driven tissue damage before disease takes hold. The technologies we develop will also have broad applications beyond these aims, and we are committed to making them widely accessible through open collaboration.
