About me:
In 2023, driven by personal loss, I joined LMS with the goal of accelerating research on cancer medication. Having witnessed the devastating impact of this disease on loved ones, I am personally motivated to pursue innovative therapies that can save lives and prevent families from experiencing the same heartbreak.
Under the guidance of Dr. Fets and Professor Lenhard, I have the opportunity to combine the best of both pharmacology and computational biology at LMS lab. I am confident that the cutting-edge research being conducted at LMS aligns perfectly with my aspirations to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer. This is why I decided to join LMS.
The computational regulatory genomics group develops computational methods for studying gene regulation and uses them to decipher how gene promoters and enhancers work together in regulating multicellular development and disease.
The drug transport and tumour metabolism group at the LMS was formed in 2019. The team, led by Louise Fets, strives to better understand the role of membrane transporters in drug distribution and tumour metabolism.
