About me:
Shauna is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Vitamin D Bioanalysis group at the LMS. She did her BSc in Chemistry at University of Galway, followed by a PhD in Organic and Analytical Chemistry also at University of Galway on small molecule structural characterisation. She is now focusing on the development of mass spectrometry techniques to explore vitamin D metabolism in health and disease.
The vitamin D bioanalysis group at the LMS was formed in 2023. The team lead by Carl Jenkinson aims to understand the role of vitamin D metabolism and function on human physiology and health using mass spectrometry applications.
