About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Postdoctoral Researcher to join Chromatin and Development group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for their own project, investigating transposable element regulation and/or chromatin regulation in early mammalian development. They will also be expected to integrate themselves within the team and contribute to collaborative research with the team

About you

The ideal candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in gene regulation, chromatin biology, development or a related biological field. Prior experience of mouse or human iPSC/ESC culture is highly desirable, as is experience with techniques to probe chromatin status such as C&T, C&R, ATAC-seq etc and/or experience in setting up new techniques. The position is available to be filled summer 2025, but the start date can be flexible.

*Additional allowances comprise a £1,000 lump sum Settlement Allowance plus a yearly Training Allowance of £850 in the first year, paid in monthly installments. The Training Allowance increases to £1,300 in year two, and £1,800 in the third year.
