We provide the advanced light microscopy equipment, the user training and the image analysis tools required to support LMS research.
The facility offers a large variety of imaging systems, from fluorescence stereo microscopes to the latest super-resolution instruments. Facility staff provide training and support ranging from help with experimental design, image processing/visualisation and quantitative image analysis to direct collaboration on specific projects. This usually involves developing customised software solutions to automate image analysis workflows.
In addition to the cutting edge equipment listed we provide a wide range of fully automated fluorescence imaging workstations for fixed and live cell imaging and a number of basic manually operated microscopes.
Image processing and analysis tasks can be performed on three dedicated high spec image analysis workstations.
